What To Expect

Welcome to Hammer & Stain Punta Gorda. We are a DIY studio where you select, personalize, and create a wide variety of projects during our workshops. Our studio allows you to gather with friends (or make new ones!) to create wood and paint projects perfect for your home or gifting.

A typical class will last for 2-3 hours. Larger pieces may take longer. Our creative coaches will guide you through the process, from start to finish. We will also help you with the selection of paints and stain color options.

You can join us for weekly workshops, book a private party, or have us come to your event - think corporate outings, birthday parties, bachelorette parties, GNO, date night, etc! We also offer Hammer@ Home DIY kits you can pre-select your project and paints then pick up to take home and create at your leisure.

The best part is, whether you are so DIY that HGTV should give you your own show or you struggle with paint-by-numbers, our process and technique will empower you to leave our studio with a great one of a kind handcrafted piece!

As the workshop progresses, know that not everyone will be moving at the same pace. This is normal – don’t compare yourself to anyone else. This is YOUR project and YOUR experience! HAVE FUN, ENJOY YOURSELF, and BE PROUD of your creation! Again, we are there to help. So, if you have questions or need a hand with your project, let us know!

When you have finished your project, you are free to go! BUT before you go, and if you are up for it, we’d love to get a picture of you with your project for our gallery!

Best place to go for some crafty DIY fun. Great owners, great projects to choose from and wonderful venue. I highly recommend them. Mu friends and I did the ceramic Christmas tree painting class and we had a lot of fun and are looking forward to maybe doing another one soon.
